Dumbbell Banded Chest Flys? Total game-changer in my early days as a personal trainer, especially in a gym without a cable crossover machine. This innovative exercise became a staple for engaging the pecs in a new and effective way.

The Chest Fly, a classic move known for its ability to pump an insane amount of blood into the chest, gets an exciting twist with the band variation.

 

Light dumbbells x bands

Starting with light dumbbells and incorporating bands not only intensifies the workout but also ensures your muscles are engaged throughout the entire movement.

✅ Aim for 12-20 reps to truly feel your chest working

 

How to do them

Grab some mini bands and loop them around a heavier dumbbell. Have a partner hand you the bands first, then the dumbbells. I would recommend using 5-lb. or 10-lb. dumbbells in each hand first (along with the bands!)
