I started training with Zach about 8 months ago at 35 years old. Before starting with Zach, 1 Googled every program, device, and online coaching platform you can think imagine. Let me save you some time.

If you're reading this, you are probably looking for personal training or an entry point into strength training. The idea of personal training or powerlifting can be intimidating. At 35, I've come across individuals that have hurt themselves in the gym and every TV sitcom or comedy movie will have you thinking the goal of a personal trainer is to exhaust you all the way to your breaking point.

Let me talk briefly about my onboarding experience with Zach. After reaching out via his website, the first thing that Zach did was suggest reaching out by phone and discussing my goals. I let him know I was a complete novice, but was extremely interested in pursuing powerlifting and also wanted to lose some weight. We spoke about my current workout regimen (minimal) and my goals. My number one concern was starting a program that was too advanced. Zach assured me that many of his clients had similar backgrounds and invited me to the gym for a fitness assessment.

I've got to be honest. Stepping into the gym was intimidating. I had no idea what to expect, and I was surrounded by a studio full of equipment I had no idea how to use. But after a hand shake and thanking me for coming out, Zach took me through a few exercises and movements he let me know would be the foundation of training program.
