How to scale your kettlebell swings
It's Leg Day at Matheny's Muscle House, and today we're going to dive into how to scale the Kettlebell Swing using a red mini band. This is a great leg day clincher and is perfect for gyms that don't have heavy kettlebells.
Key points
→ Use red mini-band: making Mickey ears and looping the band through the kettlebell will help add more resistance to the movement and force you to be more aggressive.
→ Use a sumo stance: feet just outside the shoulders, toes angled out slightly.
→ Hip hinge: hinging from the hip will ensure you're using your glutes and hamstrings to generate all the power.
